Looks like even David Fincher is jumping on the remake bandwagon. It’s sad really. Fincher and the dude who wrote Se7en are re-teaming to work on a film called The Reincarnation of Peter Proud. The film was adapted from a novel by some dude, which has already been made into a film.
I suppose it’s more of a re-imagining than anything else. The book centers on a college professor who begins having recurring dreams and nightmares and, realizing they are images of a past life, decides to search out the source of the visions. With his girlfriend in tow, he discovers a woman and her grown-up daughter who are keys to his past life.
It’s said that the new version will use the book as a source, as opposed tot he already existing film.
Vocab’s Take: Fincher and Andrew Kevin Walker worked magic before, so I won’t count them out on this one. As long as it’s not boring as fuck like Zodiac, I’ll give it a watch. But if Jake Gyllenhaal is in it, all bets are off.

I can make wahtever the fuck I want to.
