I wasn’t totally sold on Edge of Darkness, but I guess I might watch it again. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’ll get the chance to on May 11, 2010. On that day, Edge of Darkness will be released onto DVD and Blu-Ray.

Here’s a synopsis from my review in case you want to know more about this Mel Gibson vehicle: “Edge of Darkness starts off with a bang as Tom Craven watches his daughter get ruthlessly gunned down in front of his house. From there, Craven, who is a police detective, sets about uncovering the mysteries behind his daughters murder. His explorations will slowly lead him to investigate a bunch of people, who are all not that interesting. Eventually, a clean-up man is sent around to discourage Craven from digging any further, but Craven is too far gone and must see his revenge wrought on those responsible for the murder of his daughter. It’s an uneven story filled with misconnections, ill-timed scenes, and the occasional display of skill from Gibson and Ray Winstone.”
