Kick-Ass Trailer – Latest Movie Trailers

Matthew Vaughn has a new flick coming out… just so you have some idea of what I think of Matthew Vaughn, here’s a line from my review for his last film Stardust: “This Matthew Vaughn guy sucks the balls like one of those lottery machines on TV… except no one’s getting rich.”

Anyway, his latest film Kick-Ass looks anything but. It actually looks miserable. A bunch of asshole kids dressing up in uniforms and pretending to be superheroes? That shit is weak. Didn’t Blankman already do this? And we saw how that turned out.

i’ve been reading about this movie for a little while now…. the green band trailer that you’re basing your opinion of the movie on makes it look like it belongs on nickelodeon.

everything i’ve read about this one sounds pretty awesome, from the comiccon buzz to reports from people who have seen the first cut of the film. apparently it’s uberviolent and true to the comic. especially kick-ass’s first couple of attempts at crime fighting where he just gets beat the fuck down.

i’m gonna wait for the redband trailer before i completely make up my mind.

yeah, Stardust sucked, but im looking forward to seeing this movie.
