Stallone’s latest Rambo flick is going to be something of a departure… and may even feature a few sci-fi elements. The next installment will take place in America, somewhere near the events of the first film. Rambo stumbles onto a military complex where soldiers are being experimented on. The people behind the military complex are trying to craft supersoldiers who won’t hesitate to kill other people. It sounds a lot like Universal Soldier to me… but I liked that movie so who gives a shit?

One of the armies new killers goes off on a rampage, and Rambo is sent in to mop up the mess. I can only hope it will be as violent, nihilistic, and ruthless as the last Rambo flick.

We’ll just have to wait and see, but I get the feeling someone will talk some sense into Stallone and the end product will be far from what is mentioned here.
