Richard Pryor Biopic Filming This Fall – Latest Movie Rumors and News

It seems weird that Richard Pryor is getting a biopic, and while I typically hate biopics, I feel that Richard Pryor is interesting enough to merit one.

The film will be title Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said? It will star Marlon Wayans as Richard Pryor. Wayans will be replacing the rumored Eddie Murphy in the role. Filming is set to begin this fall.

Vocab’s Take: Richard Pryor was a funny bastard. I’ll be interested to see what they do with this movie. While Marlon Wayans might not have been my first choice for the role, I don’t feel that he’s a bad one. Wayans has shown the range in the past that should allow him to get into the role.
