Zack Snyder’s Next Film… 3-D and Animated – Latest Movie Rumors and News

It looks like Zack Snyder is going to depart from making actual good movies, and start making cartoons. It’s kind of disappointing that the man who made Dawn of the Dead ‘04 and 300 is going to start making shit. The film is titled Guardians of Ga’Hoole, and it’s about a young owl who is fascinated by his dad’s stories of warrior owls who fought evil forces.

The film has picked up some quality voice talent already… but it’s a fucking cartoon, so who gives a fuck? Sam Neill, Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving, and David Wenham will be lending their vocal talents to the film… along with an international cast full of people you’ve never heard of.

Vocab’s Take: Bah. After the whole Watchmen debacle, I find my respect for Zack Snyder slowly plummeting to record lows. Now he’s making cartoons. I feel an almost Tim Burton-esque decline coming on.
